A Warm welcome to our Guest House. We are situated in a pleasant Victorian Terrace  in the heart of Filey close to the beach

and gardens and all the town centre amenities, and only a few minutes walk from the bus and rail station.

Abbots Leigh

Filey is  renowned for it's glorious 5 miles of sandy beaches stretching from Filey Brigg to Bempton Cliffs to the south. It is also a haven for bird watchers visiting Filey Dams nature reserve and the RSPB at Bempton and only a few miles away from the famous Flamborough Head.

Filey Brigg is a good lookout point for watching seals, and if you are lucky Dolphins. It is also used daily by sea anglers with a competition held every year in September.

     Crescent Gardens

Filey is a quiet sea side resort ideal for families and people who want a quiet relaxing holiday. Within a short walking distance from Abbots Leigh is Fileys 18 round Golf Course that welcomes

Golden Sands

visitors and has impressive views from the greens over the Bay. We are also ideally situated for ramblers walking the famous Wolds Way and Cleveland Way.

A short journey away in Pickering you can take a steam train to Itv's Heartbeat Country Goathland. The City of York is only an hour's drive away, Scarborough 7 miles and Bridlington 10 miles. Also within an hours drive we have Castle Howard and the Forge Valley National Park.

We are a short stroll to crecent gardens where you will find plenty of seats to rest those weary legs and take in the beautifull view over filey bay . For those of you wishing to dine in the area, there are local pubs and restaurants to cater for every taste within walking distance.
